First Time's a Charm....NOT

We gave Ava cereal for the first time. She had the typical reaction and gagged at first. The following succession of pictures shows "The Tale of the Cereal"...

We also were able to finally get a ponytail to stick in Ava's hair. I think it's hilarious...I might keep it around.

There Ain't No Party Like a King Family Party!

For New Years we went to P-town to live it up King style. If you think I'm a wack-a-doo, imagine 4 King girls combined...now that's a party. We played a lot of Just Dance 3...we are awesome dancers.

We did a white elephant gift exchange which was awesome. A few of the awesome gifts included:
1 - Real men have chest hair shirt
2 - A framed picture of my dad that says "What Would Mike Do?"
3 - A box of pads with a picture of an eye drawn on them...it was an ipad.
4 - And of course, who wouldn't want a limited edition set of Williams bobble heads?

 Spencer was lucky enough to get the whole collection.

Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian.

I think Ava hates any holiday. She hated Halloween...and Christmas was not her favorite. She especially hated Santa. She screamed as soon as he held her. Then he gave her a candy cane. Thanks Santa...as soon as he handed it to her (before we could interfere) she shoved the cane in her mouth and gagged herself. LOVELY. Other than that, Christmas was the diggity. We got to spend it with the Lott family and it was so much fun. They even let us sleep in a little bit (7:30...seriously...it's a record.)
Ava got a pretty sweet haul. Among her favorites, a pink sock monkey, her Baby Magic Bullet, her walker, and cereal.

John got me a shake weight. I think he was pretty tire of the jiggidy-jig flabbing about on my arms. Just kidding. I think he was sick of hearing me complain about it and wishing there was something I could do about it. It's pink...not the flab, the shake weight.

We also got matching BSU gear. Go Broncos!

I have a 5 month old. Seriously....this is nuts. Time is going by way to fast. Good thing she gets cuter every day or I would have a reeeeaaalllly hard time dealing with the quick changes.
