Photo Vomit

So, life has been totally CHAOTIC. BUT! It's almost done! 14 weeks left of grad school (but who's counting?) Between teaching full time, grad school, trying to be a mom, there has been NO time to update this blog! Now that I'm done teaching, I am finally pulling out all the old pictures. SO, here are a dump load of pictures.

Easter and Updates

Life is still crazy! I only have 6 more months of grad school!!!!! Hallelujah!!! It has seriously been so crazy and stressful! It wasn't bad until I went back to teaching full-time and then it was like...BOOM.
We are still house hunting. We have an offer on a house that we are HOPING goes through soon. We've had our offer in for a few months, but it's a short sale and those take a lot longer. Fingers crossed!

Ava is still cracking along. She is so funny. She says the funniest things! Right now, she is obsessed with Frozen (who isn't?). She loves to sing and dance to the songs and she acts out the movie when she is singing the songs.

John LOVES his job. It is so nice to see him happy with what he is doing!

Easter has been fun. The only lame part was when we went to BYU for their Easter egg hunt.  It was supposed to start at 11:00. We got there at 10:45 and then we waited until 12:30 for them to start! It was the worst. Ava ended up with 2 eggs, filled with maybe 15 cents worth of candy. Ummm, I loves me some BYU, but we will NOT go back for anymore egg hunts there.

Waiting in line

Pure. Madness.

Ava showing half of her spoils.

We went to Mikelle's house after for egg dying and a better hunt.

This morning we did a totally lame egg hunt around the house. I say lame because we are in a tiny apartment while we wait for our house and there was one place to hide the candy and eggs...she found everything within 30 seconds. Good thing she's 2 and doesn't care!  The only thing she cared about was shoving in as many jellybeans as she possibly could into her mouth.

She's a babe.

Spring Break

Spring Break this year was really weird.  It was really nice to have a week off from teaching. BUT I spent most of Spring Break working on my teaching portfolio and catching up on homework so it didn't really feel like a break.  We had planned on spending a few days at Zion National park hiking but our trip got cut short when we found out my great-grandma died.  We ended got to St. George late Thursday night, went to Zion Friday, hung out with Megan and Jayme that night, went to my grandma's funeral on Saturday in Beaver, and then went home on Sunday.

My sweet grandma was 98 years old! She lived such a wonderful life and we are so happy that she is reunited with my grandpa!

5 generations!

Zion National Park
See that squirrel on the left hand side. That dude was a total jerk. He ran over to Ava, grabbed the snack out of her hand, and then took off!

Oh Hey There

It's been a while...like since Christmas. Who does that...There really aren't many pictures. We didn't really do anything fun.  Turns out, between teaching, grad school, house hunting and life, there's no time to do anything else.
Here are some pictures of things that have happened over the past few months.

Ava started dance and preschool. SHE LOVES IT. She runs around the house dancing and showing off her sweet moves.

We visiting the ice castles - note to self: Don't visit when they are melting.

We've had multiple dress up and tea parties.

We went on a field trip to the BYU Prehistoric Museum...Turns out, Ava will be the student who needs extra adult supervision on field trips. Apologies to her future teachers.

We learned how to drive.  To Ava, this means learning how to run over as many people as possible.
