What's at the end of the rainbow?....CUPCAKES!

In honor of my Irish heritage, I decided to make rainbow cupcakes for St. Patricks Day. They turned hot awesome! Check out those layers baby!

Westridge MusicFest

Every year, my school does this mega music program. The theme was "Make A Difference....by going green"...WHAT kind of a theme is that?! Anyway, fourth grade sang "Send It On" and "From A Distance". If you look real close, you can see my hand moving around and I lead them in "From a Distance". They did a great job, but I am super tired and SO glad we are done with it. My BFF Erica and her hubster Cody had their baby recently. I hope they don't mind, but I posted a picture of her because I have to live vicariously through everyone else. She's so cute!

Christmas Break in Review

We had a really fun Christmas break. We both had about 2 weeks off to just play and hang out.

This year for office gifts, I stole an idea from my friend Emilee (however, her stuff is always much cuter than what I attempt to make).

Anyway, I made TimTam-Slam kits for my team at my school. I packed in the essentials and wrote a cute little poem that had the directions for making a TimTam Slam!\

Also, here is a recent picture of Cha-Chi. I know how EVERYONE has been thinking about him. Look how cute he is! He's getting fat and old but he's ADORABLE!

All of Your Wildest Dreams Have Come True....

Because I am finally posting! (Actually, there are probably like 3 people who maybe check this blog every once and a while, so this goes out to you.)

The past month has been crazy. We are SO ready for Christmas break.

Karen, Emilee, Laurel, Carol, and myself went up to Salt Lake to see Rob (my previous boss) and his family in "The Savior of the World".

My mom and I made wedding cake balls for Cassidy's bridal shower (which I am not posting pictures of because all of them make me look fugly)

Our Christmas tree. This is the first year I've really decorated one. Usually I am too lazy or a Scrooge to do it. DONE! (And yes, those are my sweet wood board walls and shag carpet. Again, AWESOME)

Halloween- Awesome style

For Halloween this year, John and I didn't really do anything outstanding. On Friday, I had my school partay/parade, which was INSANE. I let my kids decide what I was going to be for Halloween. They decided on a cavewoman....a cavewoman?!
Mikelle, luckily, is amazing and helped me pull together a last minute cavewoman costume that turned out pretty cute.


On Saturday, we slept in, hung out, went around to see the neices and nephews costumes and then went to see "Where the Wild Things Are", which by the way is a good but trippy movie.

Hope everyone's Halloween was as good for them as it was for us!
