In Every Show Comes a Song Like This One...

John and I went and saw Spamalot this weekend. It was one we wanted to see while we were in New York but it had already left. We were really excited when we saw it was coming to Salt Lake. The show was amazing. The singers did a great job and the show was hilarious. We were laughing SO hard.
Here is one of the songs from Spamalot if you are unfamiliar with it. This isn't from the show we went to...but it was just as good.

Being Preggers.

Being Preggers is weird. REALLY weird. I used to go to the bathroom twice a day....if I was lucky. Now, it's 6 or 7 times a day. Seriously....how is my rear handling this? Next, everything makes me sick. EVERYTHING. I live off of cereal and bread and slushies. Also, don't be expecting preggers pictures. I don't want to be remembered as jack nasty. Especially now...I'm not showing, I'm just fat.
I am due August 9...The same day as my sister Megan. Who does that? (Actually, it's SUPER weird to think about so let's not.) To be fair, my ultrasound says the babeh is coming at 7 am....which is probably before her.
Sorry this post doesn't have pictures...like I said, no one will be taking in the plump that is now my body.

Seriously...We Are So Boring.

No lie. We are seriously so boring. We don't do anything. So when you buddies get in our grill about not blogging...you really aren't missing out on anything.
However, recent holiday events transpired and we have pictures. There are even some nasty hairstyles you can enjoy.

First nasty hairstyle...the "butt-cut". This was John's thing in high school. Guess who got a haircut that night?
This is the "old man Beiber". We had Justin Beiber fever.

I got a Kindle for Christmas. John totally out-gifted me. The mutt. My screen saver is Agatha Christie...no I don't know how to choose what my screensaver is.

Don't mind our mess....or our nasty house. We got a TV for christmas.

The most exciting thing was Baby Benson being born. What a stud!

Christmas with the Fosters. John loves Christmas.

Everyone.

Also, we went to the Lott's for New Years in St. George. However, I forgot to take pictures. Just know that I was the Rock Band king....as I always am.

I need to learn how to sew.

So this year, I followed my annual tradition of letting my students choose my Halloween costume. Last year, it was the cavewoman costume. This year, it was a pink M&M. I thought to myself, I could sew this easy...just make 2 big circles and sew them together. WRONG. That train of thought led to the following disaster:

However, Mikelle and Chris saved the day once again and made me a much bigger and better costume. Their awesomeness resulted in the following goodness:

Me and Whitney the Pig!

BYU vs. Wyoming

My parents went to St. George over the weekend and they gave us their BYU tickets. We were a little hesitant to go because of BYU's losing factor and it was raining. However, it stopped raining during the game and the Cougars won! They sure showed us!

Addie (3) also felt it was necessary to say to me, "Maren, you sure have crazy hair."

Fall Break

Over fall break, John and I went down and staying with Cam and Di for a few days. It was super nice and relaxing. During this time, we somehow acquired a large amount of pumpkins. Also, we watched Diane decorate her house. She should probably charge money for people just to look at it. AMAZING.
